Arte Américas -- in the heart of Downtown Fresno's Cultural Arts District!
Plenty of free parking available to our visitors both adjacent to the building and in a parking lot across the street. Our galleries are open to the public from Wednesday through Saturday from 11 am - 5 pm. Sundays we're open from 1 pm - 5 p.m. Arte Américas is great destination for people of all ages. We're a popular attraction for Fresno residents and visitors from out-of-town who enjoy cultural activities, art galleries, museums and fun/educational/family-friendly things to do in the Central Valley.
JAGUARES, SÍMBOLOS AND MOTIFS
Three world-class printmakers are being featured in three of the galleries at Arte Américas. Calixto Robles, Lylia Forero Carr, and Jason Bonilla present multimedia works including screenprints, paintings,and lithographic prints. The Ruiz Gallery features Robles from Oaxaca,Mexico; a painter, printmaker, and sculptor. His work, which is inspired by the myths and symbols of the ancient traditions of Mexico, has been exhibited in several galleries, including the Museo Nacional de la Estampa in Mexico City, the Centro Cultural de Mexico in Paris, France, the Biblioteca de la Havana in Cuba, and the Legion of Honor and the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, California.

and regions within México as part of an annual tradition. While on these trips, the couple has amassed a sizable collection of works which range from crudely carved balsa wood figures to spectacular pottery with intricately inlaid silver adornments.
