Over the past twenty-six years, Arte Américas has celebrated the ancient Día de los Muertos tradition with our friends and partners in the community...and every year the celebration continues to grow in size and popularity.

This year we have the good fortune of celebrating the holiday on a Saturday and are bringing the art and traditions of this ancient holiday to the Clock Tower on the Fulton Mall.  There, we will feature FREE arts & crafts tables for kids, including a $5 hands-on workshop that will teach you Dia de los Muertos facespainting techniques.

Folklórico dancers, samba drummers and a children's choir will provide the entertainment from the main stage as free arts, crafts, and music workshops take place for kids of all ages.

Most of the Fulton Mall arts & crafts booths are free to all who want to participate (while supplies last!)
When the sun sets, you're invited to participated in a candlelight procession back to Arte Américas.  When the crowd arrives,  Aztec fire dancers will move to the hypnotic drumbeats  thumping through the Plaza.

Folklórico and marimba players will present a program of traditional music and dance, followed by the funky sounds of Margo Montoya's powerhouse ensemble Force 'Em!  The band plays a blend of R&B, Latin, Blues, Top 40, Dance, Classic Rock, Country, Oldies, and much more. Loved by their fans for being one of the few live bands in the Valley that is versatile enough to play a latin tune and then flip it with a good old classic rock tune!

Bring your dancing shoes and some cash -- most vendors will NOT be accepting credit cards.
