Día de los Muertos Art Workshops:
2 Classes offering 2 sessions on every Saturday in the month of October!

  • You CAN attend more than one workshop!  All workshops are offered at two different times so that you can attend multiple workshops in one day. 
  • Registration begins at 11 a.m. on the day of each workshop (sorry, pre-registration is not available)
  •  $10 per person or $30 for an immediate family of up to four people. 
  •  Appropriate for kids and adults (adults often outnumber the kids!)
  • All materials included -- simply bring your creativity and enthusiasm!
  •  Go home with works of art that you created!
  • VISA, Mastercard, or cash accepted. Pay for you workshop in La Tiendita gift shop on the day of event. Registration for morning and afternoon workshops opens at 11am.

10/25:  Sugar Skull Making and Chalk Art

Two sessions of each workshop are offered on each day:
  • Session 1:  12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
  • Session 2:    2:30 pm - 4:30 pm 



Metal Tooling (Repujado) with Diana Rodriquez

  • ZERO experience necessary!  
  • Adults and children will be able to create incredible works

Paper Crafts with Dr. Rosita Arenas

Sugar Skull Making with Eva Patiño y la Familia
    • Learn to make them from scratch! Sugar, molds, and icing included.
    • LIMITED SEATING.  This workshop has sold-out three years in a row!
    • Educational -- learn the reason for the sugar skull in the Día de los Muertos tradition.

  • Chalk Art  
    • Break into teams or work individually
    • Team leaders assist, but you create
    • Weather-restricted.
